Simply delicious

Authentic polish food, perfect summer dish, easy and very tasty!
Potato with sour milk!

Sour milk (kwasne mleko or zsiadle mleko) is very popular in the polish cuisine. We use it for baking, cooking, making cottage cheese, or just drinking. Sour milk is a fermented cow's milk similar to buttermilk or kefir. In the UK polish kwasne mleko is now in every major supermarket.

Ingredients for two:
2 portions of new potatoes
1 bottle of sour milk (kwasne mleko)
1 bunch of dill finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
50g of butter
salt, black pepper

Recipe:
Do not peel the potatoes, cut them into chunky pieces,add salt,  cook as usual. While the potatoes are cooking, heat the e butter, add the onions and fry until golden brown.
Arrange the potatoes on serving plates, then top them with hot butter and onion, sprinkle generously with the dill, ans season with the black pepper.
 Serve immediately when hot with a glass of chilled sour milk.

This simply food taste very delicious.  Especially when you are privileged enough to enjoy this plate in the countryside in the time of harvest.
